I’m TJE Lemke, and all my life, I’ve loved a good story.
I read widely as a youngster – a fact I attribute to my close relationship with language and the written word to this day.
This love of stories has, over time, led me to an interest in exploring what stories actually are. Why am I fascinated with them? What are the moving pieces that make them what they are? What are the constants? And for goodness’ sake, how do I write a good one myself?
Well, I’m done asking those questions without actively pursuing the answers. This site is (or will be) filled with my questions, observations, and answers to those and other questions about how stories are told, what makes them good or bad, and why.
If you love good stories as much as I do, and want to peek behind the curtain of what makes them good with me, then welcome aboard.
